Suhail Hafiz

Suhail Hafiz is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Head of Finance at Fig since March 2023, Suhail plays a pivotal role in merging startup agility with corporate stability. As a co-founder and board member at Auctus Technologies, Suhail focuses on facilitating growth for SME technology businesses. Additionally, Suhail is a partner at Probability Ventures, investing in promising technology companies in Africa, and the founder of Contrarian Investment Partners Ltd., providing investment and advisory services. An adjunct professor of finance at Schulich School of Business since December 2017, Suhail also has a rich background in strategic advisory and investments through previous roles at Koru, Hum Capital, and other financial institutions. Suhail holds an MBA from Schulich School of Business and a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.
