Valerie Priven

Valerie Priven serves as the Senior Manager of Business Operations at Fig, a digital lender focused on simplifying borrowing for Canadians, since March 2024. Under Valerie's leadership, Fig received the Best Overall Digital Lending Product award at the FinTech Breakthrough Awards in 2025 and won the Consumer Finance Award from the Canadian Lenders Association in 2024. Previous experience includes a role as Business Operations Manager at Cable, a financial crime SaaS platform, where Valerie was the first business hire, and served as a Venture Capital Associate at Impression Ventures, focusing on early-stage fintech startups. Additionally, Valerie worked as an Investment Analyst at Manulife, participated in the company's Investment Division Rotational Program, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with High Distinction from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, specializing in Finance and Economics.
