Carly Ayres

Carly Ayres is an accomplished editor and writer with extensive experience in the design industry. Currently serving as an Editor/Writer for Story Studio at Figma, Carly has previously contributed to prominent organizations, including Google as UX Content Design Lead for Material.io and as part of the UX Community & Culture team. Carly also held positions as an Adjunct Professor at Parsons School of Design and faculty at the School of Visual Arts, emphasizing the intersection of pedagogy and professional practice. As a co-founder of the design and technology studio HAWRAF, Carly played a significant role in the creative community. Additionally, Carly has contributed as a design writer for Wallpaper* and served on the board of AIGA New York. Educational qualifications include a BFA in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and further studies in business and entrepreneurial practices.
