Devdatta Akhawe

Devdatta Akhawe is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in security and production engineering. Currently serving at Figma since March 2020, Devdatta supports the teamwork pillar and is involved in security, production engineering, and internal tools. Previously, Devdatta held various roles at Dropbox from 2014 to 2020, including Director of Security Engineering and Engineering Manager for Product Safety. In addition to corporate roles, Devdatta is an angel investor and advisor for several startups. Academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
