David van der Beek

David Van Der Beek has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. David is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Figment since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Figment from February 2022 to January 2023. David also founded Inked Technologies, an e-sign platform with a built-in workflow engine, in November 2018. From January 2022 to February 2022, they worked as a Director of Product Management - BNPL at Amount, and before that, they were a Tech Product Lead - Point of Sale at Amount from March 2020 to January 2022. David has also worked as a Head of Product at Align Income Share Funding from October 2016 to November 2018, and as a Product Manager at Avant from November 2015 to August 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Product Manager & Sr. Engineer at Cultivate Labs, Inc. from February 2014 to October 2015, and as a Product Manager & Technical Co-Founder at Sandbox Industries from January 2013 to June 2013. Before venturing into the tech industry, David worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte from July 2012 to January 2013. David obtained their MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, graduating in 2012. Prior to their MBA, David owned Kings Playing Cards from March 2005 to 2012.

David Van Der Beek obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business from Lafayette College, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Later, they pursued an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, specializing in Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Strategic Management, from 2010 to 2012.
