Youssef El Khalili

Youssef El Khalili has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. Youssef started their career at Commissionaires Canada as an IT Project Assistant/Web Developer, where they contributed to the implementation of new data collection practices and storage. Youssef then worked at SageTea Inc as an R&D Intern, optimizing code and designing web applications. Youssef also gained experience as a Backend Engineering Intern at Perpetua Labs, creating microservices and employing web scraping techniques. Youssef worked as a Software Developer Intern at BBM, where they integrated Google Cloud Pub/Sub and sped up CI/CD builds. Youssef later joined the University of Ottawa as a Programmer Analyst and Qlik as a Cloud Software Engineer, specializing in identity management. Recently, they served as a Software Developer II at Lightspeed HQ, and they are currently a Lead Software Engineer at Figment.

Youssef El Khalili holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University (2013-2014) and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Ottawa (2014-2018).
