Ilya Belenkiy

Ilya Belenkiy has a diverse work experience that spans multiple roles and industries. Ilya is currently working as a Lead iOS Engineer at FIGUR8, Inc., where their responsibilities include developing iOS applications. Prior to this, Ilya founded Harmonic Sense in 2006, where they served as a Senior Developer, Graphics Designer, Webmaster, and Customer Service representative. At Harmonic Sense, they created Songs for Mac and ChordMate for Mac, iPhone, and iPad.

From 2017 to 2023, Ilya worked as a Principal iOS Engineer at Rocket Insights (now DEPT®), where they worked on various projects, including implementing iOS apps, redesigning apps, and developing gesture recognition algorithms and video processing. Ilya also worked as a Senior iOS Developer contractor for Fidelity at Randstad from 2015 to 2017, where they designed and implemented scalable card container architecture for the Fidelity app.

In 2014, Ilya served as the iOS technical lead and a Senior Software Engineer at KAYAK, where they designed and implemented a framework for data-driven dynamic interfaces. Ilya also worked as a Senior Software Developer at InterSystems from 2000 to 2014, where they designed and developed an IDE Prototype for Mac and was responsible for language bindings for Cache objects.
