Ed Coyne

Ed Coyne has over 17 years of software engineering and programming experience working in various companies, including Google, Deluxe MediaVu, Flashbrief, and Everyday Robots. Ed has worked on numerous projects throughout their career that involve software, hardware, and network development. Ed'sexperience includes working on embedded firmware, developing tools for manipulating Quicktime / MP4 binary container format, designing a faculty project submission and management system using the Eclipse IDE and the GWT toolkit, and developing a P2P mesh-networked emergency alert system for Windows and Macintosh systems using C++. Furthermore, Ed's experience includes working on an OpenGL-based maintenance training simulation in C++, using SVN for source management, SQLite for state-management, and Python for support scripting. Finally, Ed Coyne has a strong background in Linux server administration, setting up a cluster of Linux servers for critical company services, and developing tools in PHP and PostgreSQL to aid in administration of services.
