Joey Wood

Joey Wood has a diverse range of work experience in mechanical engineering. Joey is currently working at Figure as a Mechanical Engineer since 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Mechanical Design Engineer at Boardwalk Robotics from 2021 to 2022, where they focused on mechanical design for robotics projects. Joey also gained experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at The Institute for Human Machine Cognition from 2021 to 2021. Joey's earlier experiences include working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University from 2018 to 2019, where they led the mechanical design of robots for the DARPA SubT challenge, winning first place at the tunnel circuit event. Joey also worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at M3D LLC in 2017.

Joey Wood pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University from 2017 to 2021.
