Lee Magnusson

Lee Magnusson has a diverse work experience in the field of robotics and engineering. Lee is currently working as a Staff Robotics Engineer at Figure since 2022. Prior to this, Lee served as the Sole Founder of Unhuman Inc. from 2018. Lee also worked at Tesla as a Staff Test Engineer from 2022, and at Motive Mechatronics Inc. as the President from 2015 to 2018. Lee has previously held positions at Google as a Senior Roboticist from 2013 to 2015, at Meka Robotics as the Chief Engineer from 2011 to 2013, at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as an Engineer in 2007, and at the MIT Media Lab as an Engineer in 2005. Lee began their career as a Motor Control Engineer at Premag in 2001.

Lee Magnusson earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the period of 1998-2003. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2003-2005. Lee Magnusson currently does not have any additional certifications.
