Tanay Nerurkar

Tanay Nerurkar is a highly skilled Staff Manufacturing Engineer currently employed at Figure since October 2024, focusing on the design and construction of manufacturing lines for humanoid robots. Prior to this role, Tanay spent over seven years at Tesla from April 2017 to October 2024, where contributions included the design of the high-volume Tesla Semi General Assembly line, along with roles as Senior Manufacturing Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer, optimizing various manufacturing processes. Tanay began a career in manufacturing at Analog Devices in early 2016, collaborating on a Master's thesis that involved design of experiments and process optimization for high-volume semiconductor manufacturing. Tanay holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
