Victor Ragusila

Victor Ragusila has a diverse work experience in engineering and design roles. Victor currently works as a Senior Engineer at Figure. Previously, they worked at AeroVelo as an Engineer, where they contributed to the design and construction of human-powered vehicles. Victor also worked as a Course Instructor at the University of Toronto, teaching engineering design and developing course materials. Victor has extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant for the AER201 Engineering Design course at the University of Toronto, where they assisted teams of students in building autonomous robots. Prior to that, they were a team member at AeroVelo, where they worked on the composite construction of helicopters and flight operations. Victor also has experience as the Captain and Mechanical Design Lead of the Human Powered Vehicle Design Team at the University of Toronto, where they oversaw team operations and vehicle design. Additionally, they contributed to the construction and flight testing of a Human Powered Ornithopter and worked as a CAD and control consultant at IHMC, where they redesigned actuators and performed mechanical design for robots.

Victor Ragusila began their education by enrolling at the University of Toronto in 2003. Victor completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Engineering Science in 2008. Building upon their undergraduate studies, Victor pursued further education at the University of Toronto from 2008 to 2016. During this time, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.
