Maria Dominique Flores is a dedicated Staff Registered Nurse at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, specializing in General Pediatrics and serving on the Evidence-Based Practice & Research Committee. Since June 2018, Maria has gained extensive experience across various pediatric settings, including charge nurse responsibilities and precepting nursing students from several universities. In addition to being a COVID-19 Vaccinator RN, Maria contributes to climate and health equity initiatives with Cancer Free Economy and holds multiple roles in nursing education, including Treasurer of the Rutgers School of Nursing Alumni Association and board member of the Rutgers University Board of Directors. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Nurse Practitioner degree at Rutgers University, Maria also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the same institution and has furthered education in research and biostatistics at Columbia University.
