Mayumi Hashimoto has over 12 years of work experience in the design industry. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Product Designer at Fiit, where they work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing & Production teams, as well as the founders to help deliver the best possible user experience. Mayumi works across multiple digital platforms and is involved in UX research, wire frames/mock up flows, User testing, and prototyping. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Graphic/Digital & UI Designer at Motion Biscuits | Animation Studio, where they created/redesigned branding materials and websites for a beauty salon and cleaning organization, as well as creating marketing materials such as posters, brochures, and menus for a laundry service company. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Senior Graphic Designer at Moneybox, where they were responsible for creating all in-house marketing materials such as end-to-end production of digital advertisement, social media, blogs, website, explainer video illustrations, tube ads, TV ad directions, web graphics, in-app campaigns, presentations, etc. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Design Director at Time Out Tokyo, where they were responsible for the planning, management and delivery of all in-house and client based design projects from concept through completion. From 2015 to 2016, they were an Account Manager at All Takashimaya Agency (ATA). From 2014 to 2015, they were a Web Designer at SK Word. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Graphic Designer at Wallpaper* City Guides, where they were responsible for creating over 40 city guide books. Finally, from 2009 to 2011, they were an Assistant Graphic Designer at The Conran Octopus Publishing Group.
Mayumi Hashimoto attended the University of the Arts London from 2005 to 2006, where they completed an Art Foundation Course in Art & Design. Mayumi then continued their studies at the University of the Arts London from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a BA in Information Design.
