Linda Hanna MBE has an extensive work experience in various organizations. Currently, they hold the position of Strategic Adviser for Economic Development and Innovation at the University of Glasgow, starting from January 2023. Additionally, Linda is a member of the Estates Committee at the University of Glasgow since December 2021.
Prior to their current role, Linda served as the Strategic Partnerships Director at Filament STAC - Smart Things Accelerator Centre starting from July 2022. Before that, they held the position of Board Chair at SRUC from April 2022.
Linda has also worked at Scottish Enterprise for a significant period, holding multiple roles. Linda was the Managing Director focusing on Innovation, Investment, and Future Economy from September 2021 to March 2022. Linda also served as the Interim Chief Executive Officer from October 2020 to August 2021. Previously, they held the positions of MD Scottish Economic Development from October 2018 to October 2020, Strategy & Economics Director from June 2013 to October 2018, and Senior Director, Enterprise and Business Growth from February 2006 to May 2013.
Furthermore, Linda served as a Non-Executive Director at Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc from 2019 to 2021.
Linda Hanna MBE holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Parasitology from the University of Glasgow.
