Joe Depeder

Joe DePeder, CPA has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Joe began their career as a Manager at J & B Lawn Mowing, where they gained valuable communication and customer relationship skills. Joe then worked as a Tax Intern at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, preparing city income tax returns and analyzing fixed assets and inventory.

Joe's accounting career took off when they joined Crowe as an Audit Staff Accountant. In this role, they performed basic account-level testing and gained proficiency in excel functions such as Vlookups, Sumifs, and PivotTables. Joe later moved up to Senior Staff Accountant, where they conducted detailed transaction level work and assisted in setting up and tying out client financial statements. Eventually, they became an Audit Manager, overseeing 10-12 audits annually for large companies and collaborating closely with clients' CFOs and Controllers.

In 2021, Joe briefly owned their own business, Audit Ready, LLC, before joining Sagemont Tax as a Controller. Joe then transitioned to become the Director of Finance at FileForms and TaxNow in 2024. With their strong accounting and finance background, Joe brings a wealth of expertise to their current and future roles.

Joe DePeder, CPA earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Accounting from the University of Dayton in 2014. Joe obtained their CPA certification from the Accountancy Board of Ohio in December 2016.
