Lamont Black

Research Fellow at Filene Research Institute

Lamont Black is an accomplished academic in the field of finance, currently serving as an Associate Professor of Finance with tenure at DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business since July 2013. Lamont Black has held positions as a Research Fellow at the Filene Research Institute and as an Economist at the Federal Reserve Board from May 2005 to May 2013. Additional experience includes a visiting scholar role at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and an adjunct professorship at Georgetown University, where courses on Global Financial Markets and Institutions were taught. Lamont Black began academic contributions as an Associate Instructor at Indiana University Bloomington from 2002 to 2004. The educational background includes a PhD in Finance and Economics from Indiana University Bloomington, as well as an MA in Economics from Indiana University Indianapolis and a BA in Modern Thought and Literature from Stanford University.
