Daniel Hu

Daniel Hu is the CEO and Co-Founder of Fileread, a position held since April 2022. Prior to this role, Daniel worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Spring Labs from April 2018 to April 2022, focusing on income stability data mining and automated KYC solutions. Earlier experience includes a Software Engineer position at Snapchat, Inc. from August 2016 to March 2018, where responsibilities included ad platforms, payments, monetization, and compliance integrations. Daniel also completed internships at Airbnb, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and IBM Canada Ltd., as well as serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2016.
