Zhia Chong

Zhia Chong is an accomplished Engineering Manager and Tech Lead at Meta, where since September 2020, significant contributions have been made to enhance global video calling experiences through team building, hiring, and coaching engineers. In addition to this role, Zhia Chong founded "Coding with Zhia" in June 2024, aiming to assist one million software engineers in entering Big Tech. Zhia Chong is also an investor in multiple companies, including Filmhub and Platzi, and served as a Senior Software Engineer at Twitter, leading the Mobile App Promotion Signals team. Prior experience includes a Full Stack Engineer position at Thunder Industries, where innovative solutions to complex problems were developed. Zhia Chong holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Gonzaga University.
