Gibson Merrick

Gibson Merrick has a diverse range of work experience in the film industry. Starting in 2014, Merrick worked at Troma Entertainment as the Director of Public Relations from September 2014 to May 2015, followed by serving as the Director of International Sales from May 2015 to October 2015. In 2016, Merrick joined FilmRise and held several positions, including Manager of Distribution and Marketing from March 2016 to March 2017, Theatrical Distribution Manager from April 2017 to March 2018, Senior Manager of Theatrical Distribution from March 2018 to September 2018, and Senior Manager of Distribution from September 2018 to April 2022. Currently, Merrick is working as the Executive Director of Distribution Operations at FilmRise, starting in April 2022.

Gibson Merrick attended Fordham University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies.
