Group President, Life Sciences at Filtration Group

Rob joined Filtration Group as the president of its Purafil business. As a result of Rob’s leadership and strategic direction, Purafil has seen a significant increase in sales and profitability. He then took that success to lead Porex, and then became a Group President, leading the Life Sciences businesses across Filtration Group.

Prior to joining Filtration Group, Rob served as Group Vice President at Precision Castparts Corporation (a Berkshire Hathaway company). He was responsible for the P&L for the $400 million aerospace parts manufacturing business in North America and led the turnaround of multiple CNC machining facilities. Previously, he held positions of increasing, global responsibility in engineering and operations at Alcoa Corporation, which he joined after serving as a client engagement manager for McKinsey & Company. He began his career in the United States Army.

Rob graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering. He also holds a Master’s degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma and a MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
