Kim Downing

Kim Downing has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Kim currently holds the position of Senior Division Order Analyst at Discovery Natural Resources LLC since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Crestone Peak Resources from August 2016 to August 2020 as a Senior Division Order Analyst in the DJ Basin. In this role, they showcased their cross-functional skills and resolved complex title issues, avoiding costly audits and escheatment. Kim started their career at Encana Oil and Gas in April 2014 as a Division Order Analyst in the DJ Basin. Kim successfully launched and managed a curative campaign for the company. Before joining Encana, Kim was the President and Independent Subcontractor Landman at Odyssey Land Services, Inc., where they grew and managed a title and land crew consulting business. Kim handled complex negotiations on oil and gas lease acquisitions, leasing issues, surface rights, rights-of-way, and gas storage agreements. Kim held this position from May 2005 to January 2014.
