Paul Geiger joined Discovery in 2021 and is responsible for leading the organization's day-to-day operations and setting the strategic direction of the company. Prior to joining Discovery, Mr. Geiger served as the Chief Operating Officer for HighPoint Resources where he was responsible for planning and directing the operations and technical activity for the company. Before joining HighPoint, Mr. Geiger held numerous leadership roles at Southwestern Energy, Quantum Resources Management, Anadarko, Howell Petroleum and Burlington Resources. With over 25 years of energy industry experience, he has held a variety of engineering and leadership roles in multiple regions including notably the Permian Basin, Rocky Mountains, Midcontinent, Gulf Coast, Appalachia and Canada.
Mr. Geiger received his BS in Petroleum Engineering and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas.
