Josh Sauer, APR has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Josh currently serves as the Director of District Communications Strategy at Finalsite since September 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as an Educational Sales Consultant at Finalsite from January 2021 to September 2022. In 2023, Josh became a Co-Owner of NGU Resorts & Clubs and Margarita Island OKC. In 2021, they founded Frozen Frenzy Rentals OKC, where they are the Business Owner, providing margarita machine rentals and flavors for parties. Josh also has experience as the Owner of JoshSauerPR.com / The School of Swag in 2020 and as a Web & Interactive Media Specialist at Moore Norman Technology Center from 2014 to 2021. Josh also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Moore Norman Technology Center from 2019 to 2020. Josh began their career as a Marketing Coordinator at REC Protective Systems from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they gained valuable experience as a Floor Manager & Table Games Dealer at Chickasaw Nation Division of Commerce's Riverwind Casino from 2006 to 2009. Josh'sfirst job was as an Associate Manager at Little Caesars Pizza from 2002 to 2006, where they developed a strong work ethic and learned about the service industry and building relationships.

Josh obtained a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Central Oklahoma, where they studied from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Oklahoma, completing their studies from 2007 to 2011. Josh began their educational journey at Oklahoma City Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Broadcast Journalism from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, they pursued studies in Web Development at Moore Norman Technology Center from 2002 to 2004.

Alongside their formal education, Josh Sauer has also obtained several professional certifications. Josh earned an Administrators Certification from Finalsite in January 2021 and completed courses such as "Best Practices for New People Leaders" and "How Managers Create a Culture of Belonging" at LinkedIn in July 2023. Josh obtained certifications in emergency management from FEMA, including "An Introduction to the National Incident Management System" and "Introduction to Incident Command System, ICS-100" in May 2020. In October 2019, they achieved the designation of Certified Marketing Professional from LERN. Furthermore, they hold the Accreditation in Public Relations (PR) credential from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), earned in June 2019.
