Ian Cooper

Ian Cooper possesses extensive experience in engineering and technology leadership, having held pivotal roles across various companies. As Director of Engineering for Cloud Solutions at Travelers, Ian spearheaded cloud Native initiatives and led an agile software team in creating a self-service infrastructure management application. Ian's tenure at Travelers also included the position of Engineer in Residence, where a revised EMC Data Protection strategy significantly improved backup service reliability. Prior experience includes serving as an Engineer at BitSmith Technology Group, where virtualization of Linux systems supported high-speed network management, and as Director of Technology at FusionStorm, overseeing multi-site implementations in virtualization and storage. Additionally, as Vice President of Engineering at eMusic, Ian directed a team in launching an innovative online music service. Ian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
