Chris Robinson

Chris Robinson has over 20 years of work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Currently, they are serving as the VP and Cybersecurity Director at Finance Factors, Ltd., where they are responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's information security program. Chris has established and maintained a robust cybersecurity strategy and implemented information security policies and procedures.

Prior to their current role, Chris worked in the US Navy for over 20 years, holding various cybersecurity positions. Chris served as an Ashore Information Systems Security Manager, where they ensured compliance with cybersecurity requirements and implemented a risk management assessment program. Chris also worked as an Information Technology Specialist and a Submarine Network Administrator, leading teams and performing fault identification and maintenance on submarine networks. As an Afloat Information Systems Security Manager, they contributed to the creation and maintenance of cybersecurity policies for the U.S. Submarine fleet.

Chris Robinson holds a Master's degree in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they obtained from 2017 to 2019. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems and Services from the same institution, completing their studies from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their academic degrees, Chris also possesses several certifications in the field of cybersecurity. These include the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification and CISSP certification, both obtained in 2018. Chris also obtained the Security+ certification from CompTIA in 2014.
