Sima Kammourieh Petrov

Sima Kammourieh Petrov currently serves as the Executive Director for Climate at the Finance for Development Lab since September 2024. Previously, Sima was the Programme Lead at E3G from October 2020 to August 2024, where leadership included international sustainable finance, international financial regulation, and the Better Recovery Unit aimed at promoting systemic financial reforms for climate safety. Sima's earlier experience includes roles as an Associate Fellow at the German Council on Foreign Relations, Guest Author at the Jacques Delors Centre, and various positions at BNP Paribas, the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Sciences Po, and the Direction générale du Trésor. Sima holds a Master of Science in Economics from HEC Paris, a Master of Research in Political Science from Sciences Po, and was a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University.
