Damien Daly

Damien Daly has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Damien is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Finance Ireland since February 2022.

Prior to this, Damien held various roles at Ulster Bank, starting as the Director of Customer Experience & Products from April 2018 to February 2020, followed by Director of Strategy from February 2020 to February 2022.

Before joining Ulster Bank, Damien worked at Bank of Ireland, where they served as the Managing Director of Bank of Ireland (UK) plc AA FS Partnership from July 2015 to April 2018. Damien also held the position of Director of Marketing and Customer Analytics, leading the development and implementation of the Group's marketing strategy and customer analytics program from July 2012 to July 2015. Earlier at Bank of Ireland, they served as the Group Head of Customer Deposits in Bank of Ireland Group Treasury from January 2010 to July 2012.

Damien's career started at eircom, where they held various positions including Head of Customer Acquisition and Development from August 2004 to February 2005, Head of Voice and Access Products from May 2000 to August 2004, and Product Manager for Voice Products from September 1997 to May 2000.

Damien began their professional journey as a Marketing Executive at Lafferty Group from January 1991 to September 1997.

Damien Daly completed a Professional Diploma in Leading Cultural Change & Ethical Behaviour in Financial Services at University College Dublin in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Certified Bank Director certification from IOB in 2017. Their earlier education includes a MSc in Business Administration from Trinity College Dublin, which they completed from 2002 to 2005.
