Andrew Hurd

Andrew Hurd is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit and underwriting. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Credit and Underwriting at Finance of America Commercial since September 2014, Andrew has a strong background in commercial and consumer loan underwriting, particularly for affluent private bank clients, with a focus on loans up to $50 million. Prior experience at Bank of America includes roles as GWIM Credit Underwriter, Financial Analysis and Monitoring Specialist, Loan Monitoring Specialist, and Operations Analyst, where responsibilities ranged from evaluating credit quality to supporting trading operations. Andrew began the career at Wachovia Global Securities Lending, where product development in treasury services was a key function. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, earned in 2008.
