Elisa de Anda Madrazo

Elisa de Anda Madrazo has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent position was as the Vice-President of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), starting in July 2020. Before that, they worked at the Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público, first as the Director General and Senior Legal Advisor starting in August 2019. Prior to that, Elisa served as an Attaché to the Mexican Embassy in Washington DC for the Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público from June 2015 to March 2019. Elisa also gained international experience through their role as a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard Law School from July 2011 to March 2012. Elisa began their career as an Associate at Von Wobeser y Sierra, S.C. from February 2007 to May 2010, and prior to that, they worked as a Law Clerk at Zambrano y Madrazo, S.C. from June 2006 to February 2007. Elisa started their career as a Law Clerk at García Alcocer Abogados, S.C. from October 2004 to June 2006.

Elisa de Anda Madrazo's education history includes obtaining a Law Degree from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México, with a focus on international law. This program was completed between 2002 and 2007. Subsequently, they pursued further education at Harvard Law School from 2010 to 2011, where they earned an LL.M. degree specializing in International Law and Legal Studies. Additionally, Elisa attended Harvard Kennedy School from 2012 to 2015, where they achieved a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a concentration in Public Policy and International Policy Analysis.
