Robert Checchia

Robert Checchia has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in finance and investment banking. Robert is currently the VP of Finance at Magnifi Communities by TIFIN since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, Corporate Development and Strategic Projects at The Bountiful Company from March 2021 to March 2022.

Before that, Robert was an Investment Banking Senior Associate at Duff & Phelps from February 2020 to March 2021. Robert also served as a Mergers and Acquisitions Associate at both Pulsar Invest from October 2017 to September 2019 and Serfinan Consultoria Financeira E Projetos Ltda from January 2014 to October 2017.

Earlier in their career, Robert worked as an FP&A Specialist at Bunge from August 2011 to April 2013. Robert also held various roles at Gafisa, including FP&A Coordinator from January 2010 to July 2011, FP&A Senior Analyst from October 2008 to December 2009, and Trainee from January 2008 to October 2008.

Robert Checchia's education history is as follows:

From 2016 to 2018, Robert pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, they obtained another Master's degree in Economics & Finance from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa.

Before their master's degrees, Robert completed a Bachelor's degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at USP from 2009 to 2013. Robert also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which they obtained from USP from 2004 to 2007.

In terms of certifications, Robert has obtained several. In 2020, they earned the Series 7, Series 79, and Series 63 certifications from FINRA. In 2019, they became a Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) through the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI). Additionally, they are currently a Candidate for the CFA level 3 June 2021 exam, certified by the CFA Institute.
