Jennifer Quiroz, MNPL, serves as the Executive Director of the Financial Empowerment Network since July 2021, focusing on enhancing financial wellbeing for Washingtonians through strategic partnerships. Prior to this role, Jennifer was the Advocacy Services Manager at the Domestic Abuse Women's Network from October 2018 to June 2021, where initiatives included educational programs and support services for survivors of domestic abuse. Earlier experiences include a position as a Bilingual Legal Advocate at the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center, and providing financial empowerment training for domestic violence agencies. Jennifer held various roles at YWCA Seattle | King | Snohomish, where responsibilities encompassed fiscal support, program management, and community advocacy for domestic violence services. Educationally, Jennifer holds a Master's in Nonprofit Leadership from Seattle University and a Bachelor's in Human Services from Western Washington University.

Financial Empowerment Network

The Financial Empowerment Network (FEN) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 in Washington state dedicated to helping low and moderate-income people become financially stable. Our mission is to advance financial empowerment through partnerships that support access to affordable, effective, and relevant services, products, and other resources. FEN serves as a liaison and broker to create connections, disseminate evidence-based and promising practices, and bring resources to a network of providers to integrate financial empowerment into other services, including anti-poverty strategies. Strategic Initiatives 1) BankOn BankOn Seattle-King County was launched in 2008, the second in a national movement to help people without bank accounts access affordable financial services. New in 2019 is the addition of BankOn Washington.
