Ben Lewis has extensive experience in communications and marketing roles. Ben is currently serving as the Chief Communications Officer (CCO) at the Financial Planning Association (FPA) since March 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at FPA as the Managing Director of External Communications and Public Outreach from July 2013 to January 2020. Before joining FPA, Ben held positions at the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors as the Communications and Marketing Manager from September 2010 to June 2013 and as a Public Relations Consultant from August 2005 to September 2010. Ben also has experience as the Owner and President of Perception, Inc. from October 2002 to September 2010 and as the Director of Communications at The Scarborough Group, Inc. from June 1999 to October 2002. Earlier in their career, Ben served as the Director of Communications at Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity from November 1996 to August 1999 and as a Deputy Press Secretary at Swett For U.S. Senate '96 from November 1995 to November 1996.

Ben Lewis earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Public Relations from Bradley University, where they attended from 1991 to 1995.
