Financial Planning Association (FPA)
FPA Mizzou has been actively involved with the Financial Planning Association since 2015, serving as the University of Missouri Chapter focused on educating students about careers in financial planning. The chapter conducts weekly meetings featuring industry professionals discussing various topics related to investment banking, credit unions, brokerages, wealth management, retirement planning, and insurance. Additionally, FPA Mizzou organizes a diverse events calendar each spring, with events including information sessions, professional development workshops, and alumni networking opportunities. FPA Mizzou is associated with the educational path of Personal Financial Planning, having emerged from the University of Missouri-Columbia where the degree was completed in 2022.
