Rafe Haar is a versatile professional with extensive experience in both financial planning and technology. Currently serving in a Virtual Externship at the Financial Planning Association, Rafe has completed 180 hours of financial planning, focusing on client onboarding, goal determination, risk analysis, investment portfolio construction, retirement strategy design, tax evaluation, and cash flow management. Prior to this, Rafe worked as a Principal QA Engineer at CommScope, overseeing the testing and deployment of a Video On Demand streaming service. Rafe also held significant roles in quality management at Tekmark Global Solutions, project management at Telcordia Technologies, and project lead positions at Cotelligent and Lucent Technologies, contributing to critical systems in telecommunications. Rafe holds a Financial Planning degree as a CFP® Candidate from Bryant University, a BA in Computer Science from New York University, and an MS in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.
