Hesham Sakr

Hesham Sakr serves as the Managing Director at the Egyptian Civil Liability Insurance Pool since January 2024 and has been with the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) since October 1993, where currently holds the position of General Manager for the Non-Financial Market. Throughout the tenure at FRA, significant achievements include leading a team of auditors to enhance compliance standards and overseeing critical operational processes. Previous roles included Insurance Team Leader, supervising insurance inspections using the Risk-Based Supervision approach, and Insurance Auditor, ensuring policy compliance and assessing underwriting practices. Hesham Sakr holds a Doctor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Helwan University Cairo, a Master's degree in Investments and Securities from the Arab Academy for Management, Science, and Technology, a Diploma in Insurance and Finance from Minufiya University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce from Minufiya University.
