Elaine Moore

Elaine Moore is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in financial and political reporting. Currently serving as the Tech Comment Editor and Lex deputy editor at the Financial Times since March 2017, Elaine has contributed to daily commentary and analysis on technology and finance. Previously, from January 2013 to January 2017, Elaine held the position of Capital Markets correspondent, focusing on government debt and emerging markets, while also serving as Deputy Editor of FT Money. Early career endeavors included freelance reporting in Cambodia and positions at the Financial Times as a reporter, online editor at Guardian.com, and political researcher for the Turkish Embassy in London. Elaine holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Cambridge.
