Climate Reporter at Financial Times

Kenza Bryan is an accomplished journalist currently serving as a climate and sustainable finance reporter for the Financial Times since July 2022. Previously, Kenza worked as an investigator for Global Witness, focusing on connections between financial institutions and agribusiness in tropical forests, contributing to significant reporting featured in major outlets like the FT and BBC. Before that, Kenza reported for The Times and The Sunday Times, receiving recognition as a finalist for New Journalist of the Year at the British Journalism Awards in 2020. Early career experience includes freelance journalism for various international publications and a role as an economics tutor at Lanterna Education. Kenza holds a Gold standard NCTJ diploma and a BA in History from the University of Cambridge, where leadership as President of the Corpus Christi College Student Union was demonstrated.
