Nikou Asgari

Nikou Asgari currently serves as a Digital Markets Correspondent at the Financial Times, focusing on crypto markets and traditional market structures since September 2018. Prior experience includes reporting on the US pharmaceutical industry, particularly vaccines during the Covid pandemic, as well as covering mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and European stock and bond markets. Additionally, Nikou was a Steering Group Member at Creative Access, contributing to diversity and inclusion initiatives in the creative industries from September 2022 to August 2023. Nikou holds a BSc Hons in Economics from the University of Nottingham and is pursuing further education at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
