Oliver Roeder

Oliver Roeder is a Senior Data Journalist at the Financial Times, where contributions since May 2022 include a secondment as Features Editor. Previously, Oliver served as a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University from August 2019 to May 2020 and as a Senior Writer at FiveThirtyEight from September 2014 to August 2019. Oliver's academic career includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at New York University School of Law from June 2013 to June 2015. Education credentials include an AB in Economics from the University of Chicago (2003-2006) and a PhD in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin (2007-2013).
