Sophie Martin

Sophie Martin is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Financial Times since April 2016, Sophie has also held the position of Finance Director, overseeing M&A activities, the Nikkei-FT synergy programme, and corporate development, along with serving as a Non-Executive Director for both Alpha Grid Media Limited and Longitude Research Limited. Prior to this, Sophie worked at Pearson plc as VP of Financial Planning and Portfolio Analysis and held various positions at Financial Times, including Financial Analysis and Planning Manager and Business Analyst. Earlier in a career at Mazars, Sophie focused on audit assurance from 2004 to 2008.
