Independent Non-executive Director: FT Board Director Programme Asia at Financial Times

Timothy J. Peirson-Smith is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Executive Counsel Limited, a position held since March 2003. In addition to leading his own company, Peirson-Smith serves as an Independent Non-executive Director for the Financial Times Board Director Programme Asia and is a Visiting Speaker on Crisis Management at HK University MBA. With extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, Peirson-Smith co-chairs the International Association of Impact Assessment's Public Participation Section and has held various leadership roles, including Vice Chairman of the Royal Geographic Society of Hong Kong and past Chairman of Project Chambers. Peirson-Smith's past involvement with the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong includes serving as a General Committee member and Director and founding the Environment Committee. Academically, Peirson-Smith holds a Non-Executive Directors Diploma from The Financial Times and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Environmental Science from The University of Sheffield.
