Dean Kim

Dean Kim is an experienced professional in the financial and engineering sectors, currently serving as an Associate in Commodity Derivatives at National Bank Financial since April 2024. Prior to this role, Dean held positions as a Senior Associate and Associate at Enverus from June 2021 to March 2024. Dean's earlier experience includes working as a Drilling Co-Op Student at XTO Energy, where support was provided to the drilling engineering team in the Duvernay and Montney plays, and as a Drilling Engineering Summer Student at PAREX RESOURCES focusing on root-cause analysis for the Southern Casanare asset. Dean holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the same institution, along with an international summer program in East Asian International Relations from Seoul National University.
