Åsa Lööw

Åsa Lööw has extensive experience in the financial sector and regulatory authorities. Åsa started their career as a Backoffice professional at Swedbank, where they were responsible for settlement and collateral management. Åsa then became the Vice President of Funding in the Group Treasury at Swedbank.

In 2011, Åsa joined the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority as a Senior Risk Expert, where they focused on liquidity risks and implemented the Basel III regulatory framework in Europe and Sweden. Åsa held this position until 2022, during which they also served as the Acting Deputy Director and Deputy Director of Financial Risks at Finansinspektionen.

Furthermore, Åsa worked for the Swedish Government/Ministry of Finance as a Member of the Committee reviewing a new legal framework on Covered Bonds.
