Vanessa Eriksson

Vanessa Eriksson is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in regulatory compliance, commercial agreements, and legal advisory services. Currently serving as a Legal Counsellor at Finansinspektionen since November 2025, Vanessa focuses on payment service providers under PSD2, covering areas such as regulatory compliance, authorisations, anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CTF), sustainability, and sanctions. Prior experience includes roles as a Bolagsjurist at Skandia, where Vanessa worked on payments, and at Teamtailor, drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements. Vanessa's background also includes positions at Deloitte, Sveriges Domstolar, and legal internships, along with a strong educational foundation with a Master of Laws degree from Uppsala University.
