David Rooney

David Rooney has an extensive work experience in the field of finance and recruitment. David founded Finatal in 2010, a company that provides bespoke financial services to businesses in the UK, Europe, and Brazil. As the CEO of Finatal, they have built strong networks in the private equity mid-market and sourced CFOs with relevant industry experience. David has also overseen the EMEA operations for FiveTen Group from 2007 to 2009, where they ensured the smooth integration of acquired companies into the group. Prior to that, they started as a consultant at Marks Sattin in 1995 and eventually became the Managing Director in 2003. David led the business through its sale to FiveTen Group and played a key role in its integration.

David Rooney earned a BA (Hons) degree in American Studies from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1995. Prior to that, they pursued a BA (Hons) degree in Humanities (American Studies) at the University of West London from 1991 to 1995.
