George Koufoudakis

George Koufoudakis has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to technology and software development. George currently works as a DevOps Engineer at FINBOURNE Technology since April 2020. From 2009 to 2020, George worked at Ionian University as a System Administrator, System/Network Engineer, and Software Developer. During this time, they gained expertise in Apache, MySQL, Bind, Ldap, Radius, Mail, VPN, Cisco, Virtualization, as well as Bash and PHP scripting.

Prior to that, George worked as a Software Developer & Laboratory Instructor at the Computing Systems Laboratory, National Technical University of Athens from 2007 to 2009. George also served as a Network/System Administrator & Software Developer at GO|BROADBAND S.A. from 2006 to 2009.

George started their career as a Software Developer at the National Center of Social Research from 2004 to 2005. George then worked as an Academic Consultant at Microsoft Hellas from 2001 to 2004.

Additionally, George has experience as a System Administrator at the National Technical University of Athens, where they were responsible for hardware and software maintenance of PCs and Servers at the Central PC Lab. George also served as a Telemachos II platform Instructor from 2000 to 2002.

George Koufoudakis holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Ionian University, which they completed in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Informatics from the same institution, spanning from 2010 to 2012. George's educational journey began at the National Technical University of Athens, where they earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 1997 to 2005.
