Matan Orland

Matan Orland is a seasoned professional in the field of computer science and cryptography, currently serving as the Cloud Infrastructure Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Lemonade since September 2022. Prior to this role, Matan worked at Amazon as a Software Engineer from August 2020 to September 2022 and at GK8 as a Cryptographer and Developer, where responsibilities included leading the design and development of high-performance distributed cryptographic protocols and consulting on various cryptographic and cyber-security issues. Matan's academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Physics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Previous experience also includes a role as a Software Engineer at Intel Corporation, where contributions were made to the implementation of SGX security features. Matan has also served as a Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University for an advanced course in modern cryptography.
