Pedro has held various leadership positions in reputable companies such as FINCA Impact Finance, Nine West Group, Equifax, AES El Salvador, Total El Salvador, GTZ Office in El Salvador, Siemens El Salvador, and Xerox El Salvador. Throughout their career, Pedro has demonstrated notable accomplishments including transforming a loss-bearing business into a profitable entity, supporting revenue and customer growth, managing controllership activities, and implementing financial policies and best practices. Pedro has also been involved in M&A projects and led the implementation of ERP systems. Pedro's expertise and achievements make him a valuable asset in finance and accounting roles.

Pedro Melendez has a diverse education history, with degrees and specializations in various fields. In 1991, they graduated from Universidad Centroamericana 'José Simeón Cañas' with a degree in Business Administration. In 2004, they obtained a major in Finance and Control Management from Stetson University. In 2008, Pedro earned an MBA in International Management from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. The following year, in 2009, they specialized in Project Management at the University of San Francisco School of Management. In 2018, Pedro completed the Boulder Microfinance Training Program with a concentration in Digital Financial Services at The Boulder Institute of Microfinance.
