Mihai Ciprian Panturu is an experienced professional with a background in Finance and extensive expertise in Digital Transformation projects across various sectors, primarily Finance and Agriculture. As a Partner and Digital Catalyser at PHB Development since February 2013, Mihai manages human and financial resources while actively participating in multiple consulting roles for digital projects across several African countries. Previous roles include Digital Transformation Specialist at FINCA Uganda and Value Chain and DF Consultant for the United Nations Capital Development Fund. Mihai holds multiple degrees in Finance and Audit & Financial Advisory from prestigious institutions in France, complemented by a strong foundation in military and strategic leadership from a Romanian military high school.

FINCA Uganda started its operations in Jinja District in 1992 as a microfinance institution. In 2004, FINCA Uganda was licensed as a Microfinance Deposit Taking Institution (MDI) thus becoming the first MDI to be regulated by Bank of Uganda under the MDI Act of 2003. FINCA Uganda is part of the FINCA Impact Finance Network, a group of 20 microfinance and financial institutions that provides socially responsible financial services and enables low-income entrepreneurs and small business owners to invest in the future. FINCA Impact Finance’s network of 20 microfinance institutions and banks provides responsible financial services that enables low-income entrepreneurs and small business owners to invest in their future.
